But only on PC, as the console versions will follow at a later date.

The last time we wrote about H1Z1 it was because Daybreak decided to split the game into two paid games, H1Z1: Just Survive and H1Z1: King of the Hill. Back then the plan was to release the multiplayer focused King of the Hill game on PC and consoles this summer. Well, those plans have since changed.

Daybreak has announced that the PC version will exit Early Access on September 20, but that the console versions have been delayed. H1Z1's Executive Producer, Chris Wynn, writes:

"As we started to execute against that plan, it became apparent that the schedule was just too risky. We were spread too thin trying to fix areas of the game while simultaneously getting the game to work on the console hardware. It became clear that to best line up the game for success was to reduce the number of variables in the equation."

"As a result, I have decided to pause our efforts on the console versions and put 100% of the focus on to the PC version of the game for right now."

This means that they'll start working on converting the game over to consoles when the PC version has left Early Access. Wynn does not want to promise an exact release date, but will keep us updated.
