Following last week's Argentinian deal, Konami has just announced an "exclusive deal" with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), mainly in order to include the whole Brasileirão first division competition in Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. The announcement is highlighted in the following new PES 2017 trailer:
A representative from the Brazilian league admits that they've been working "for some time now" on bringing the Brasileirão into video games, describing the industry as a "crucial step for the Brazilian football internationalization".
Thus, the 20 Brazilian teams are exclusively licensed to PES 2017 and apparently shall not be included in FIFA 17. These are Serie A's América Mineiro, Atlético Mineiro, Atlético Paranaense, Botafogo, Chapecoense, Corinthians, Coritiba, Cruzeiro, Figueirense, Flamengo, Fluminense, Grêmio, Internacional, Palmeiras, Ponte Preta, Santa Cruz, Santos FC, São Paulo FC, Sport Recife and Vitória FC.
Besides, some of the most popular Brazilian stadiums are getting the impressive Camp Nou treatment, as shown by both the trailer and the screens below. PES 2017 includes Estádio do Maracanã, Arena Corinthians, Estádio Cícero Pompeu de Toledo (Morumbi), Estádio do Mineirão, Estádio Beira-Rioand and Estádio Urbano Caldeira (Vila Belmiro) from Brasileirão.
