PlayStation 4 Slim sighted and confirmed
The leaks continue to be plugged, but that hasn't stopped multiple sightings of the new and upcoming PlayStation 4 Slim. There's been a couple of notable reveals that means we can pretty confidently say that the new-look console is real and set to be revealed by Sony soon.
One unboxing video (that has been made private) surfaced on NeoGaf along with a picture of the new DualShock 4 (it looks just like the old model) and it's new front-facing lightbar that runs across the top of the touchpad.
Similarly, Eurogamer actually visited the home of one person to verify the authenticity of one console, although they didn't offer any additional intel in their report. They too had a video, and that has been removed as well.
The slimmed down console is likely to be revealed on September 7 at an event in New York.
