Kid Icarus: Uprising director Masahiro Sakurai has told Australian Nintendo Magazine that we will get a Pit with a whole range of weapons.
"One thing I can talk about is that Pit uses a lot of weapons and this is a very important aspect of the game," Sakurai explained.
"There's a wide variety of very different types of weapons. Each one is very unique and presents a wide range of gameplay possibilities and a multitude of ways to approach different enemies with different weapons."
Attacks have also been split into close and ranged moves. Oh well, perhaps it should not come as a surprise that Nintendo want to flesh out the 8-bit concept a bit...
