If you're a nostalgic gamer you've probably had your eyes on the Nintendo Classic Mini console ever since it was announced earlier this summer. The cute, little unit, which actually fits in the palm of your hand, comes preloaded with 30 classic games (no more, no less) and is naturally hooked up to your TV via HDMI.

In spite of this however, you can get the true old-school experience if you want. As reported on by VGCave.com the unit offers several display options, including CRT imitation, pixels displayed in square and a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Furhtermore the console offers a universal save system across all the games. You can choose the traditional way where progress is saved at certain checkpoints, or opt for the new solution where you can save your game at any given point. The second option will naturally make it easier to pick up right where you left off the next time you're in the mood for some classic NES gameplay.

The Nintendo Classic Mini is scheduled to arrive on November 11th.
