For the first time in the 33 years it has been running the Golden Joystick Awards will be open to the public.
Tickets are available for pre-purchase already at the cost of £10 each, although those buying tickets must be 18 or over.
The winners will be voted by the public when polls open on September 1 and the ceremony itself will be at London's IndigO2 on November 18.
