If you're not good enough to compete with the best players in Dota 2, or if you find matches on that level enjoyable to watch, Valve has just released a brand new way to catch the action. As part of the "International 2016 Compendium Update" a mode called "Dota VR Hub" is now live, through which you can spectate matches in virtual reality.
By diving into the minimap while wearing a VR headset, you're able to watch both live matches and replays from literally every angle. You can even invite a few friends along, as Dota VR Hub supports up to 15 spectators at a time.
Who knows, by getting that close to the action you might pick up a trick or two that you wouldn't have normally. You can read more about Dota VR Hub over on the FAQ page.
