Video Product Distributors, the supplier for Amazon (amongst others), has listed the Nintendo Wii U with a November 11 release date and a $249.99 price tag.
The date is supposedly for the North American release, and if it happens then Nintendo will have beaten their self-imposed deadline of shipping before the lucrative Thanksgiving weekend (of course, there's no European date mentioned).
Nintendolife spotted the information, and tracked down the following Youtube trailer of someone navigating the industry website.
There are three SKUs listed:
WIIU SYSTEM - GM - 11/11/12 $249.99
WIIU SYSTEM W/ - GM - 11/11/12 $299.99
WIIU SYSTEM 349 W/ - GM - 11/11/12 $349.99
We can only assume that they represent different bundles, with different combinations of games and controllers.
Having said all that, this could be nothing more than speculation on behalf of the supplier. We await Nintendo's announcement with baited breath. It can't be too far off now, can it?
