All future Telltale releases from their Batman series onwards will support multiplayer according to Telltale Games.
Job Stauffer, head of creative communications at the studio, said that "we are now turning all of Telltale's games into a live interactive multiplayer experience" using a Crowd Play function.
This function will work in two ways. The first enables a whole room or crowd to decide on something with a majority vote, and the second gives the player final say over decisions. When Crowd Play is active, it will generate a URL which can be used on smart devices and PCs by those who want to get involved. Apparently that can be up to 2,000 people.
Players will have to wait until August 2 for Batman and the ability to use this feature, one that isn't even announced formally announced by Telltale yet. For those who want more on Telltale's Batman series check out our recent preview.
