Pokémon Go is finally also available in Japan, but it remains to be seen how much they can actually play. While the app is available to download on both iOS and Google Play, the servers are experiencing problems as a result of the massive pressure from new players. This in spite of Niantic announcing a few days back that they would take the extra time until Japan launch to ensure servers would hold up. This seems to not be the case, as several media report players are unable to login or get assorted errors while playing. The Pokémon Go servers have had problems since launch in practically every country it is available, but hopefully this is something that will be dealt with swiftly.
