Niantic has just launched the second update for Pokémon Go, the amazingly successful Android and iOS game that quickly swept across the world and now has more than 30 million downloads in just its first week.
If you install the new data pack, of around 25 MB in Android, the game is updated to its 1.0.3 / 0.29.3 software version. Developers aren't sharing many details on the update's contents or fixes, other than saying that it's a patch that solves some of the glitches and errors preventing players from enjoying the experience, such as the app freezing when there's poor data or GPS signal right when you're about to catch that special monster.
We've been talking a look at Pokémon Go after the update and it actually works better. We now notice a button to get back from the loading screen when there's poor signal and you can't start the app normally.
