A camera on a police detective in Baltimore caught footage of a car driving into his parked patrol car. The driver of the car said he was looking down playing Pokémon Go and commented: "That's what I get for playing this dumb ass game". Clearly, he must not have been paying attention to the warnings each time he logs into the game.
Noone was injured in the crash, but as the driver didn't make any attempt to hide the fact that he was playing a game while driving there's every reason to believe he's going to have to lawyer up and hope for the best.
Baltimore police tweeted the video with the following comment:
"#PokemonGO is not all fun and games. Here is a video of a distracted driver who struck one of our cars. #PlaySafe"
