As the Pokémon Go trend continues to sweep across the globe, more and more people are learning that the Pokémon series is in fact not something that died out with the collectible cards decades ago. On the contrary, Pokémon games have been popular throughout the entirety of the series' lifespan (albeit not to the extreme extent we see these days) with new games released regularly.
Before the Pokémon Go craze started, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS were the most recent games, and thanks to Go's popularity, both games have caught a significant second wind on the sales charts.
As reported by MCV, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire sales are up by 145 per cent week-on-week, while Pokémon Omega Ruby sales are up by 149 per cent. This was enough to earn the games the number 33 and 36 spots on the overall sales charts (respectively), in spite of the games being well over a year old (released in November 2014).
If you wanna catch em all, we guess you'll have to play 'em all.
