Do you have a special skill that always blows people's minds? Would you like to showcase it in front of a live audience and plenty of video cameras at the TwitchCon expo in San Diego September 30th to October 2nd? Well then you better get cracking with your audition through the Twitch Creative category.
In an effort to highlight how Twitch no longer is a service solely focused on gaming, the company are now accepting worldwide auditions through their own service, in which the participants are encouraged to show off their skills live. The best of the performers will then be invited to repeat their acts live at TwitchCon, while Twitch waive the cost of expo entry:
"One of the things we heard loud and clear was that there are many other ways streamers would like to share their passion, which is why we are expanding the Twitch Creative category to allow streamers to not only create but perform their art," the company writes in a blog post.
