In spite of very poor working conditions (where things like a reliable power supply was sometimes an issue), developer 4A Games managed to produce two interesting games in Metro 2033 and its sequel Metro: Last Light.

After the sucess the Ukrainian studio decided to move their executive team abroad, more precisely to Malta, following the destabilisation of the country's finances due to the conflict with Russia on the Krim peninsula. Shortly after the remastered versions of the Metro games were released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and then the studio went quiet.

Until now. In a Facebook post 4A Games are now reasuring their fans that the studio is still around, working on not one but two secret projects!

"We have grown since you last saw us, we now nearly fill the office space you may have seen before," community manager Bungle writes. "We will be sharing what news we can as soon as we can, for now alas I have only studio news to share."

The studio news were some nice pictures of the team celebrating a Maltese national holiday, presumably in a rare break from developing their next hit. As always, we will keep you updated on future developments and announcements.
