We're pretty sure we're not the only ones rather taken with the recently announced Mini NES, a console that's going to ship with 30 classic Nintendo titles just in time for Christmas on November 11, and costing £49.99 (at least according to GAME).

With plenty of people planning on picking up the retro-console, a few questions have arisen, specifically regarding what the prospects are of getting additional NES classics added to the announced lineup. Will, for example, more games be available at some point in the future?

"No," Nintendo told Kotaku when they asked. "The console is a standalone device, so it cannot connect to the internet or any external storage devices. The game lineup was chosen to provide a diverse mix of popular and recognizable NES games that appeal to a wide variety of players. Everyone should be able to find multiple games to enjoy."
