We are only a short time into the lifecycle of Overwatch's competitive play and developer Blizzard are already making steps to refine the experience.
Something Blizzard plans to implement is a one-character limit, which prevents teams from possessing more than one of the same hero. This is sure to offer the experience a lot more variation as you won't have to keep chasing after the same heroes on the battlefield.
When speaking to GameSpot regarding the character limit, principal designer Scott Mercer said: "The big thing for Competitive Play is we're going to turn on one-hero limit, so players will not be able to stack more than one of the same hero within a Competitive match. It's not going to affect Quick Play at all, but it is something we're going to turn on for Competitive."
Earlier this weekend Blizzard also revealed a new hero named Ana, who has the power to fire health to teammates with her healing sniper rifle.
