Two marines, Seth Ortega and Javier Soch, were out and about enjoying Pokémon Go in Fullerton, California, yesterday. Nothing too unusual about that, we hear you say. However, during their attempts to catch some pocket monsters, they inadvertently caught an attempted murder suspect.

Soch and Ortega saw the man in question behaving inappropriately around a mother and her three children. This caught the attention of Soch, who watched on as that family ran away. After this the individual then moved over to another family (a mother and two children) who, like the military men, were playing Pokémon Go.

"We see the gentleman go approach them again, at this point, me and my roommate start walking across the street and the gentleman actually walks up and touches one of the children, one of the boys, his toe, and starts walking his way up to the knee," Ortega explained (via ABC7). "At this point I'm running across the street and a gentleman who was walking down the street does the same thing."

The marines stayed with the man until the police arrived, at which point he was arrested for "child annoyance". Thereafter it was discovered that the suspect was wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Sonoma, California, where he'll now be extradited.
