With the world seemingly caught in the second phase of Pokémania, there's no surprise that the series has yet again attracted some major interest.
Following the runaway success of Pokémon Go, it has been rumoured by Deadline that Legendary Pictures is working to secure the rights to create a live-action film based on the beloved franchise. With titles like Angry Birds and Ratchet & Clank scoring big at the box office, and with the adaptation of Warcraft becoming the largest grossing video game movie of all time, it must feel like there's no better time for Pokémon to return to the big screen.
Rumours of a Pokémon film deal have been floating around for a while and it seems like they've only grown stronger following the recent release of the official mobile title by Niantic.
