Oculus VR announced in a blog post that they have caught up with demand for the Oculus Rift and that the VR headset now ships within 2-4 days of order from the <a href="https://shop.oculus.com/en-us/cart/>Oculus Store</a>. Oculus are also increasing their retail efforts as a result and they will appear in select Microsoft Stores in the US next month, with demo stations rolling out in 500 Best Buy stores this fall. Furthermore Oculus reaffirmed their commitment to launch the Oculus Touch controllers this year, with support promised in more than 30 games.

The latter will also be an important focus point at this year's Oculus Connect - the annual developer's conference - where more than 50 sessions including keynotes from Brendan Iribe, John Carmack, and Michael Abrash, are expected. Oculus Connect 3 will be hosted in San José, California between October 5-7.
