Warner Bros. and MGM have confirmed that the new movie based on Tomb Raider will arrive in theatres on March 16, 2018. As we learned from the latest rumors, the movie - just like the new game series developed by Crystal Dynamics that started in 2013 - will star a young Lara Croft, who will be played by the Academy Award winning actress Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl). Roar Uthaug (The Wave) will direct the movie, while Evan Daugherty (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) will write the script. At the moment we haven't got any more details, but we will update you as soon as possible on the making of the film.
