The sequel to Disney's Wreck-It Ralph, the animated film about video game characters and their lives in an old arcade, has been officially announced through a livestream on Facebook.
Rich Moore, who co-directed Zootopia and the original Wreck-It Ralph, made the announcement with Phil Johnston, who co-wrote the first film, and John C. Reilly, the voice of the wrecker himself.
Not much is known about the plot at this point, other than what Reilly said himself, which is "Ralph leaves the arcade and wrecks the internet". You can check out the first art work below as we settle in for the long wait, with Wreck-It Ralph set to land on March 9, 2018.
