According to Sony, the stock of available PlayStation VR units have been extremely limited due to the popularity of the upcoming VR headset. Now, though, they've announced via the PlayStation Blog, that one more "summer batch" is available for pre-order starting later today for US consumers.
Sony did stress, however, that even though pre-orders run out at online retailers, the headset will still be available at launch. We think that it'll be hard to find one on October 13. Look at Oculus and Vive, that didn't go so well for those who tried to pick one up at the last minute.
