We've known that Darkness 2 was under development, but we didn't know more than that. Thanks to the wonderful peeps over at VG247, we've now found out that it looks like Digital Extremes will be handling the dev-duties for the titles. Starbreeze, the Swedish (go Sweden!) studio that made the first game, will not be involved.
Digital Extremes made the multiplayer part of Bioshock 2 and have also helped Epic with some of their Unreal-games. Can they handle The Darkness? We'll see.
