Microsoft is happy with pre-orders of the recently announced Xbox One S which have gotten off to an "amazing start", according to Mike Nichols, Corporate Vice President of Marketing for Xbox. The actual pre-order numbers have not been revealed, but Nichols claims "it's not just fans who are excited by the Xbox One S, our retail partners are just as enthusiastic". At the moment it is only possible to pre-order the 2TB model in Europe and it is said to be the only model available at launch. In Germany, Microsoft has officially confirmed the 2TB console will be only one available to buy at launch.
