Nintendo has sold 24.7 million Amiibo figurines worldwide since the launch. This number has been confirmed at the Nintendo's 76th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders by Nintendo auditor Minoru Ueda. The Amiibo business as a whole will continue to receive focus by Nintendo. The little figures add content to selected games and have become much sought after collectible items.
