Paradox Development Studios have announced the second expansion of Crusader Kings II - entitled Legacy of Rome. After expanding Crusader Kings II with Sword of Islam recently the time has come to give the Byzantine Empire a little love with Legacy of Rome.
As you would expect the expansion introduces a batch of tweaked, improved or new mechanics. These include a new faction system, the ability to raise standing armies, expanded factional revolts where vassals can now band together and cause you lots of problems as ruler, and you will now be able to appoint your Orthodox Patriachs and a most interesting new feature is a self-improvement system for your ruler.
Legacy of Rome is set for release during Q4 across all major digital download portals for $9.99 or equivalent.
