For a long time players have asked Valve for a third instalment in the Half-Life series, but at the moment the company doesn't seem to be interested in developing a new project starring Gordon Freeman.

However, this hasn't prevented fans from paying tribute to the game with some collaborative projects and mods inspired or dedicated to Half-Life. One such creation comes from the modder Bolloxed, who has created a map inspired by Valve's series in Minecraft.

More precisely, Bolloxed has crafted an area entirely inspired by the chapter set in the Black Mesa Research Facility, and has been able to achieve this by using existing mods and the editor included in Mojang's title, and, of course, a lot of creativity. If you are curious to see the results, you can take a look over here. Maybe it's not Half-Life 3, but it's definitely a decent tribute.
