While there has been no formal announcement (as far as we can tell) a video with Jakob Stilinsky (game designer, CD Projekt Red) complete with subtitles in German has revealed the existence of a console version of The Witcher. The title The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf also circulates, which seems to suggest the game will feature events and adventures from the main character Geralt's past. Return of the White Wolf would be more appropriate if the title referred to the original game...
Atari are holding an event in London this week previewing their titles for 2009 and it is safe to assume we will know more by then. We await official word from the publisher Atari.
Update: Atari told us to "wait for the Atari Live event" that starts tomorrow afternoon. Sounds like a confirmation to us.
