Ghostbusters game available to pre-order
Ghostbusters are set to make a return with the all-female ghost-busting crew set to grace cinemas in the coming weeks. Naturally there's a video game tie-in, developed by FireForge Games and published by Activision, and it's set to land on PC, PS4 and Xbox One from July 12.
The title, which is set after the events depicted in the movie, is built around 2-4 player co-op, dynamic weapon-swapping, and some ghostly adversaries (Slimer, Gertrude Eldridge, and Sparky were mentioned).
Xbox community man Major Nelson just confirmed that eager fans can pre-order and pre-download the game on Xbox One as of now, with it set to launch on July 12.
You can of course pre-order on the PlayStation Store too, although there's no mention of pre-loading the game (although it does reveal a 2.8GB file size) ahead of that version's launch on July 15 (in the UK at least).
If you're on PC there's no need to feel left out, because naturally you can pre-purchase the game too, and like those based on Xbox One, it will unlock on Steam on July 12.
All pre-orders will bag you the Classic Suit Pack (pictured below), which includes four classic suits and trap. Here's the official description as it appears on both sites:
