The mechanical animals of Guerrilla's Horizon: Zero Dawn seem to be a handful, but now we know that you can also hunt ordinary animals such as geese, boar and fish, and use them to trade or as a food source in the game.

This was confirmed via Guerrilla developer Mathijs De Jonge, who answered a couple of fan questions on Twitter.

Later that same day, the developer's official account sent out two new images from the game, one of them showing off the more snowy reaches of the environment. You can see them below.

Horizon: Zero Dawn is out on February 27 exclusively on PlayStation 4, and you can expect to read our E3 hands-on impressions in the near future, so stay tuned for that.
