If you are considering buying a PlayStation 4, it just might be a good idea to hold your horses for a few weeks. Digital Foundry says that they've heard sources claim that despite the no-show at E3, Sony will launch PlayStation 4 Neo this year.
Sony announced the existence of Neo a few days before E3, even though they didn't reveal any specs, saying it would be capable of 4K graphics and improved virtual reality. No launch date was announced either, but several sources have indicated it would be first half of 2017.
Digital Foundry has a good track record on these things, and if their sources are to be believed we may be experiencing improved PS4 games in just a few months time.
