Head of Xbox Phil Spencer spoke in an interview on Tuesday about gaming on Windows 10 in the future, including the potential for seeing Halo 6 on PC.

After Play Anywhere was announced at E3 he was asked whether Microsoft plan on keeping some games as console-exclusive in order to battle with Sony for the console market, however, Spencer said that they are "not about putting content only on console to manipulate Windows gamers to go buy an Xbox".

When asked about Halo 5 and why it's not on PC then, Spencer responded that "there's nothing about the gameplay mechanic that doesn't work" on PC, but he said "I can go take last year's game, rework it to go on PC, or I can have 343 look forward in what they're going to do". They will try and bring games to PC in the future, however, titles such as Forza - "going forward, we're going to bring our Forza games to PC complete".

This led to discussions about Halo 6 and whether they would do the same. Spencer was asked if there would be any ideological reason Microsoft may not release Halo 6 for PC to which he responded "not at all". It seems, then, that Halo 6 (or whatever it may be titled) has a strong possibility for release on PC given Microsoft's stance on including PC in their plans for the future.
