We update our initial report on this last night (see here for that story), but since we're talking about major Bethesda projects and the next Elder Scrolls RPG, we thought we'd dip back and now we have some additional intel.
Bethesda's Pete Hines spoke with IGN at E3 and reaffirmed Todd Howard's comments that the upcoming titles from the studio are being developed alongside the eventual Elder Scrolls VI.
"Howard said for sure that he's got two other projects," said Hines. "I'm just making sure folks understand that doesn't mean he's going to spit out a DLC and another DLC and we're head faking.
"I need folks to understand that we're talking about big games like a Skyrim and a Fallout 4 and a Fallout 3, and those don't just happen."
During YouTube's Live@E3 Stream on Monday, Howard said that The Elder Scrolls VI is still very early in development and not to expect it before the other two projects.
To whet your Elder Scrolls appetite though, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is being remastered and will be released on October 28 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The upgraded version will also be available for PC, and those who own a Steam copy of the original and its add-ons will be able to upgrade for free.
