Analyst firm Cowen Group have taken a closer look at the sales performance of the latest Tiger Woods titles, and found that the scandal seems to have damaged sales extensively. Analyst Doug Creutz said the following to Gamasutra:
"We are concerned that Woods' scandal woes may have permanently damaged the sales potential of what we believe to be EA's third most important sports franchise, behind Madden and FIFA."
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 has dropped 68 per cent in its first month compared to Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, and the Wii version has dropped an astounding 86 per cent.
