Free VR workshop tool called Destinations arrives on Steam

Players can now create their own VR scenes courtesy of Valve.

Valve has released a free tool on the Steam Workshop which allows players to create their own virtual reality scenes.

The tool is called Destinations and it lets players merge images together to create 360-degree pictures. It also allows players to teleport between them in order to create multiple and linked environments.

Valve describes the tool as a "content creation package that enables the creation, sharing, and exploring of both real and imaginary worlds on the Steam Workshop", and the company asks what players would like to see from Destinations in the future.

Included in the tool are demo scenes such as Mars, and there are already interesting ideas available on the community tab. For more on Destinations visit its Steam page.
