Mentioned briefly during EA Play was Respawn's new untitled Star Wars game. All we know is that the company are developing a new third-person action adventure game for the franchise. In the footage shown during E3 they speak about very little, just teasing the new release.
We do however get to see two actors with lightsabers in mo-cap suits. The clip shows a young Jedi fighting an older man, and Stig Asmussen, the Game Director at Respawn, directing the two in battle.
Asmussen said: "As a studio our promise to players is ultimately, gameplay first... We're going to deliver that Star Wars awe like fans have never seen before."
Even from the little we saw of the current-game it seems to be laying the foundations for a third-person title with a heavy focus on big battles.
It is yet to have anything close to a release date, or even a title, so we will just have to wait and see what comes next for Respawn's in-development title.
