EA has launched a new initiative called EA Play to Give. Play To Give is a charity effort launched by EA that encourages people to play games and donate. Players can contribute to charities by unlocking in-game achievements, mainly based on cooperation.
People can take part in the Play to Give initiative by playing the following games: Battlefield 4, Battlefield: Hardline, Star Wars Battlefront, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, FIFA 16 and NFL 16.
EA will be donating to five charities: Code.org, CODE2040, HeforShe, Special Effect and National Center for Women & Information Technology.
Many game companies have been doing charitable efforts and now EA has stepped up to the plate.
