Just this week Inxile announced that Torment: Tides of Numenera, their new highly anticipated RPG, has been pushed back into early 2017, while at the same time teasing that they've just signed with a new publisher
Now the studio has finally revealed who will publish the game when it's finished, Techland. Torment: Tides of Numenera will actually be the company's first game as an international publisher.
In addition, the boxed edition of the game will include a series of physical and digital bonuses that they say will facilitate the player's immersion in the unique world offered by Numenera.
"I've been impressed with Techland and am pleased to be collaborating with them," says Brian Fargo, inXile Entertainment's CEO. "Bringing a game of such scope and depth to the international market is a major undertaking, and we wanted to be sure we partnered with professionals who knew how to cater to the global community. Techland has been a great partner and their track record has convinced us they are the people we want to have at our side."
