Paragon, Epic's third-person MOBA, is now available in Early Access on PC and PS4. Although recently there have been rumours circulating regarding a possible launch on Xbox One, it seems that Epic isn't interested in releasing their game on Microsoft's console.
In an interview with Gaming Bolt</a >, Epic's creative director Steve Superville explained that it's mainly to do with the cross-play and cross-progression features:
"We've decided to focus our resources on PC and PlayStation 4 as we rolled out Paragon in Early Access and in open beta. Sony's been a great partner, as well, and has been really open to things like cross-play, cross-progression, and such, which was really important to us from the start."
So, that's why Epic has decided to focus all their resources on PC and PlayStation 4. The full launch of Paragon is expected later this year, but at the moment a release date hasn't been confirmed.
