According to data released by NPD regarding May 2016, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was the bestselling game in the United States. Nathan Drake's PS4-exclusive adventure did better than some notable cross-platformn titles, such as Doom and Overwatch, which respectively occupy the second and third places in the top three. Below, you can take a look at the complete top 10 for May 2016:
Uncharted 4 End of a Thief (PS4)
Doom (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
Overwatch (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
Battleborn (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
Grand Theft Auto V (PS4, Xbox One, 360, PS3, PC)
Minecraft (PS4, Xbox One, 360, PS3)
NBA 2K16 (PS4, Xbox One, 360, PS3)
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 (Xbox One, PS4, 360, PS3, PC)
MLB 16 The Show (PS4, PS3)
Dark Souls III (PS4, Xbox One)
Even Battleborn still managed to establish itself in the top five, but what about the top ten? We don't notice major differences when compared to April, with the top ten still occupied by the likes of GTA V, Minecraft, NBA 2K16, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, MLB 16 The Show and Dark Souls III. As for the hardware market, NPD has not been able to give us any indication as Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo didn't comment on their respective sales figures.
