Bandai Namco's community manager, posting on Reddit under the username Kimmundi, has stated that an update is coming to Dark Souls III on Friday, June 10.
The update will hit all platforms and bring the client to version 1.05 and regulation to version 1.08. The notes about the update, however, are very vague and don't specify exactly what is being changed about some things. For example, the damage levels on some weapons are being "adjusted", but is isn't clear whether these will be raised or lowered.
It seems, then, that players will have to experience the game for themselves after the update in order to check some of the changes.
