As a promotion for the upcoming Pokémon animé Volcanion & The Ingenious Magearna, Nintendo organised voting in Japan to find out which Pokémon fans like the most. Contrary to what some might believe, Pikachu didn't win, but the yellow rascal did make it to the top 5:

1. Greninja
Since Greninja won, it will be distributed in cinemas showing the movie in Japan this summer. The least popular one was Simisear, who ended up in the not so flattering 720th spot.
