By the sounds of it Australian Anthony Archer has a bit too much money lying around, and has been spending his spare time donating around $50,000 of his Australian dollars to various game streamers on Twitch, sometimes even to the tune of $1000, $2000, and $5000.
However, his act of generosity seems have had a shelf life of only weeks (or maybe it was just a prank), because according to reports he waited around a month before trying to get it back (via PayPal) but failed to do so because - surprise, surprise - the streamers all fought the case (as reported on NeoGaf).
But before you pull out the violins in sympathy, Archer doesn't seem too hard up for cash and is continuing his spree of video game-related philanthropy, because by the looks of it he's on Twitter giving away free copies of The Division for no apparent reason, other than because he can.
