Back in April we got Titanfall 2's first teaser trailer. We weren't able to deduct much from it, except that the titans now are capable of wielding swords. Luckily a Reddit user may have more details for us.

The user, "ilovegoogleglass", posted these details (now removed) on Titanfall's subreddit:
"I've been sitting on some Titanfall 2 information that was shared with me, and I've finally got the go ahead to post.

Titanfall 2 will release in October and the Mountain dew leak is indeed legitimate. They've added a ton of new pilot abilities including the addition of a grappling hook. My source said you can use it quite extensively, for getting into your Titan, aiding free-running, or tactical plays such as pulling enemies while they're midair. The pre-order bonus will be a handgun called the Violator. Multiplayer maps are bigger which I can assume they upped the player count to go along with them.

The left side of this will be the box art.

Stay tuned."

A few things worth noting:
• The artwork "ilovegoogleglass" posted sure looks a lot like the blurred image on the game's official website, so that somewhat makes it seem legit.

• Though a release in October doesn't make much sense to us. We already know that it'll launch in the third fiscal quarter, but never considered October. Why would EA launch two of their biggest games, Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2, in the same month? Fair enough, November is a tough month as well, but at least they won't have to compete against their own game.

For these reasons we advice you to take these claims with a big grain of salt, at least the part about releasing in October. Luckily we won't have to wait long for further details, as the game will be unveiled during EA Play on June 12.
