Square Enix have revealed that they will be releasing Final Fantasy XIV on September 30 world wide. That's only for the PC-version though, the Playstation 3-version won't be out until March 2011.
If you pick up the special edition you will be able to start playing on September 22 (my birthday, hint, hint, hint). This edition will include stuff like a behind-the-scenes DVD, a map, a guest pass for a friend amongst other things.
