Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is the best-selling game at UK retail, once again staying ahead of Doom which remains in second place (although this week was much closer in terms of sales between the two, with Uncharted sales dropping 78%, whereas Doom's decline was a more modest 35%).
Homefront: The Revolution made a splash this week as it debuted in third place, although it failed to match the first place finish of the Kaos Studios produced and THQ published original way back in 2011.
Elsewhere it was a big week for Japanese SRPGs. Nintendo's Fire Emblem Fates made two appearances in the charts. Birthright, arguably the more gentle (and, narratively speaking, the more natural) of the two titles, ended up in fifth. It's hardier sibling, Conquest, didn't quite manage a top ten spot in the multi-platform chart (11th), although it did fair better if individual platforms are taken into account. Similarly impressive, Valkyria Chronicles Remastered did good business for Sega, and debuted in sixth.
