Malmö in Sweden is hosting a major event dedicated to videogames, called Nordic Game, every year. Gamereactor is there to attend the event, where - among the most distinguished and expected guests - there is also the legend of the videogame development, Hideo Kojima, who we interviewed (video of that meeting is imminent). During a Q&A session held on stage at the conference with Kojima, the game developer had the occasion to talk about different issues, including his upcoming projects.

We already knew that Kojima and his studio, Kojima Productions, is currently working on a new project with Sony, but during this Q&A session, Kojima has revealed that his next game will be developed on a third party engine, and not on Fox Engine - the ambitious graphics engine that Kojima Productions had built specifically for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (and other Konami games, such as PES), but following the break with Konami, that's no longer an option. The third party engine is also the reason why he hopes to be able to launch the new game as soon as possible. We can't wait to learn more about it.
