I feel for the development team behind The Silver Lining, the King's Quest-fan project that has been in development for years. First, Vivendi wanted to shut them down but changed their minds and allowed development to go on. Then Activision merged with Vivendi and shut them down again. Now it seems like Activision also changed their minds, for whatever reason, and now development is go again.

On July 10, the first episode of the game will be released. It will be released under a non-commercial license, which means it will be free. Here's hoping that Phoenix Online Studios are able to reach that milestone and we're all looking forward to giving it a try.
