We're still not quite done with our review of id Software's Doom, and we know some of you have been enjoying the game since release last Friday. One of these players is the Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski, and via Twitter he shares his thoughts about the game: "OK some rapid fire Doom thoughts. Weapons feel good so far. Good to see some satanic stuff in there. Awesome to be on the Martian surface..."
He continued tweeting other good things with the game and said: "Love the mystery of who I am in the new Doom and the System Shock 2 "ghosts" narrative mechanic. Upgrade tokens and config weaps expected."
Not everything pleased him though and he also served up some self-critique by stating: "My only minor crit about the (fantastic so far) Doom is the same I have for my old franchise.
Stop focusing on executions so much. :)"
